PhilPost is the official Philippines Postal Service, which provides mail service in the Philippines.

While some may say that PhilPost is not very reliable, I have never lost anything that was shipped within the Philippines through PhilPost. In fact, they seem to be able to find anyone, anywhere, when it comes to getting the mail delivered to a client. Personally, I have been quite impressed with the services provided by the employees of PhilPost, especially in the Cebu Main Post Office, located in Cebu City.

With that said, when it comes to shipping products from outside the country, to within the Philippines, I would not suggest sending by the postal service in your own country. I would, instead, suggest sending these items via Balikbayan box. Or if you are shipping smaller items and documents, I would suggest sending them via a specialize courier, such as FedEx or UPS. I personally use FedEx for all of my important shipping needs both to and from the Philippines. I have never had a problem with FedEx.

If you are shipping things like books, general items or trinkets, I would say that PhilPost will be fine, for anything going out of the country. After all, most theft that is going to occur, will be for items inbound to the Philippines through PhilPost, not outbound.
